Unleashing the Industrial Internet San Francisco 2012

The Internet of Things was the latest trend in the digital and technology landscape, and every business was craving out their unique space in that conversation. For GE this meant the start of the Industrial Internet and a conversation about how 1% productivity gain could be the most pivotal modern evolution in critical infrastructure and industrial industries.


Minds + Machines marked the start of GE’s step into the digital world with former CEO Jeff Immelt leading a day of discussion with 500 top clients, San Francisco digital royalty and the leading minds in the digital-industrial revolution.


From Vision to Value Chicago 2013:

In Chicago the conversation turned to the real impact available today for businesses, manufacturers and suppliers to take advantage of to realise greater efficiency and productivity. Moving to the mid-west put a focus on the immediate manufacturing and supply-chain gains the industry was realising. With 750 top customers, partners and manufacturing leaders in attendance, the conversation turned to action, not just imagination.

State of the Industrial Internet New York City 2014

From New York City’s Chelsea Piers, the discussion turned to value generated from the early investors in the Industrial Internet and a look toward the future of autonomous vehicles, remote monitoring and early nods to artificial intelligence in the industrial space. The room fo 750 top investors, customers and leading technologist explored the reality of where the industrial transformation was and GE’s place in it with the official launch of Predix.

No Unplanned Downtime San Francisco 2015

In the third instalment of the conference the conversation expanded to over 1,000 attendees joining for a 3-day exploration of the Industrial Internet, of GE’s Predix solution in the world and of key topics challenging all sectors in the industrial landscape, from fleet management to service efficiency.

This also marked the introduction of the first interactive display space with 50 booths showcasing GE, partner and customer technologies that were changing the industry.


With 6 stages across four venues, attendees could go deeper into the areas most relevant to them from business challenges to code and development questions for the developer audience now in attendance.


Since launching in 2012, the Minds + Machines platform has ushered in conversations around the world with localised satellite events happening in Paris, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. The format developed since 2012 became the template rolled-out globally with a consistent event format, design and experience.
